Adam Greenfield is the owner and CEO of Premier Sports Performance and Recovery.
Greenfield graduated from the University of South Florida in 2000 with a B. S. in Wellness Leadership / Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Training. He is certified with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association – Board of Certification and licensed in both Florida and Georgia.
While finishing school Greenfield spent a short time working with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL) and Tampa Bay Lightening (NHL). When finished with school, he chose to focus my career in the physical therapy clinic and secondary school athletic training setting. Prior to moving to Atlanta in April 2007 for a role at the Emory Sports Medicine Center, he worked as the Director of Athletic Training Services for a Boca Raton, Florida based physical therapy company, overseeing the athletic training at five local high schools. I have experience building a sports medicine program from the ground up. Working as an orthopedic physician extender, he honed my assessment skills and gained a much broader understanding of sports related injuries. Having played sports growing up, he experienced my fair share of injuries and perhaps did not take care of my injuries in the best way possible. He chose the field of athletic training not only to help the athlete and active individual, but also to educate athletes on preventing injuries. It is his goal to help athletes enjoy the sport they love while respecting their bodies. In turn, that will yield not only a longer career, but also a life of health and wellbeing.
Most recently, Greenfield worked as the Director of Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Services for an Atlanta based physical therapy company where he oversaw the daily function of the outreach athletic training and sports medicine program while also directing one of its clinics. During that time, he was also the Head Athletic Trainer for the Atlanta Silverbacks of the North American Soccer League. During the 2013 NASL season the Atlanta Silverbacks won the Spring Championship and the right to host the 2013 NASL Soccer Bowl. It was with hard work from the coaches, players, front office and the sports medicine staff that this goal was achieved.
Greenfield enjoys playing golf and working out in my spare time. He love Atlanta Braves baseball, and have a passion for soccer in the United States and overseas. He also enjoy watching college and professional football. Most of all he love spending time with my two children Ethan and Isaac and my wife, Debra.
